The Special Council Oommitt:ee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday January 19th, 19344.. at 9 o 'clobk A.M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
•
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
i�. E. L. & P. P . were authorized to advertise for bids, on purchase
of two passenger automobiles, and trade in or make sale of one Dodge
Sedan and one Essex Brougham, as part payment on the purchase of the
new automobiles, bids to be received January 29, 1934, 10 A.M.
Park Sup ' t. , Coleman, was authorized to purchase the necessary mater
i ,ls in making improvements to the various structures and buildings
in the parks.
D. C. Hess Sup ' t. , of Light Plant , was authorized and empowered to
I.D take up the matter for investigation, as to whether it will be neces-
sary., for said plant to set back their poles and lines on east side
Route #27 between Spring. Grove and Chester, preperatory to the State
of Indiana, widening the bums on said road.
D. C. Hess Sup 't. of Light Plant, was directed to prepare and file
with the Indiana Public Service Commission- an application for new
rules governing rates for electricity to conform with the order of
the Public Service Commission.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for one truck and one
automobile coupe for use of street department, also to trade in two
Model "T" Ford Chassis, as part payment on the purchase price of
truck and coupe to be purchased.
Claims in amount of $7273. 74 were allowed,
Payrolls to January 16th, 1934, were approved.
The Board then adjourned,
