The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday January 5th, 1934, . at . 9 o 'clock A. I. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon. recommendation of the City Plan Commission,. the Board authorize
11 the Superintendent of Municipal Electric Lighting . & Power Plant, if
and when the said plant place conduits in South "A" Street, for the
underground wiring system, the same be placed in the parkways on the
north side of said street, and the said "A" Street be widened, by the
said Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant, by setting the curbs
back the width of the parkways, from South 6th Street to South 9th
Street at the expense of said light plant.
Sup9t. , Hess, was authorized to have the upstairs rooms . at Light
Plant office .building repaired, by cleaning, papering, painting and
necessary furniture, at probable expense of $1200.00.
Sup ' t. , Hess, was authorized to have the downstair office of the
plant at 32 South 8th Street, cleaned by washing the ceiling and
cleaning the sidewalls.
Claims in amount of 0701.43, were allowed.
