Monday December lath, 1933.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana,met in regular session at the office •of said Board
Monday December lath, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of sai4
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The question of transferring the sum of $95,000.00, from the Depreci
11 ation Reserve Fund of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant
to the Light Plant General Fund; also 45,000.00 to the City Gener-
al Fund, was brought to the attention of the Board, and after some
discussion it was decided that $50,000.00 of the above transferred
to M.E.L.& P.P. General Fund, be treated as a loan, and be paid back
into said fund on or before January 1st, 1937, plus 20 interest per
annum; the $45,000.00, transferreg to the City's General Fund, be
treated as loan the city to pay 27° interest per annum, and the prin-
cipal to be paid back into said Depreciation Fund within six years,
and City Attorney directed to prepare proper ordinances for said
transfers, and the said moneys so transferred to be used for payment
of labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary under the various
C.W.A. projects, now under course of construction.
Claims in amount of 3105.45, were allowed, and the various payrolls
to December 16th, 1933, were approved.
