City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday November 4th, 1933.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday November 4th, 1933, at 9 oo clock A. M. All the members of sai
Board, Messrs, Crabby Schnieder and Williams, being present the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon recommendation of Mr. Hess, the Board approved the purchase of
•. 44 cars of coal for Light Plant, from the J. M. McCall Co. ,'to finish
order given May 5th, 1933, @ : 1. .I.5 less 100 per ton f.o.b.mines, net
price $1.35 ton.
Upon recommendation of Sup °t. , Hess, the Board renew cantract for
Lamps with Floyd Breithaupt, for year ending May 1, 1934, said Breit-
haupt, aggeeing to protect city -in matter of discounts on said lamps
purchased.
Mr. Hess, reported that the Board of Commissioners of Wayne County,
Indiana, have granted the City a right of way through the Court House
grounds, for laying conduits in underground system for light plant;
' also, ground for installing transformer vaults.
The City Attorney was authorized and directed to make application to
State Treasurer of Indiana, for payments out of State Sinking Fund
created by the special session of the Indiana General Assembly in
1932, to cover the amount of deposits belonging to the City, as depos
ited in the Dickinson Trust Co. , of Richmond, Indiana.
The Board approved plans and specifications submitted, in re-wiring
the Market House, under the P.W.A.
The Board approved transfer of $33, 000.00 out of Depreciation Reserve
Fund to the General Fund of Light Plant ; also, the transfer of the
aunt of $10, 709.99 out of the Light Plant General Fund to the Depre-
ciation Reserve Fund, for the month.
Claims in amount of $2568.31 were allowed.
