City of Richmond, Indiana,
£onday November 27th, 1933•
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Monday November 27th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of
said Board Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present , the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Mr. Hess, Sup 't . , of Light Plant, stated that the contract for coal
at the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant , expires before the
next regular meeting of the Board and that he has received several
bids for the December supply of coal, but was not in a position to
report at this time as to the best bid; Mr. Hess was authorized to
use his best judgment and to contract for the December supply of coal
upon receipt of necessary information, as to prices and quality of
coal best suited- for the plant.
Claims in amount of $5194. 63 were allowed.
