Friday November 3rd, 1933.The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday November 3rd, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
A communication was received, from the Public Service Company of Indi
ana. , Advising the Board that they will start immediately to remove
the poles in Southwest "A" Street, west from Southwest 5th Street,
and expect to have the same completed by November 7th. ,
The Board was informed, due to inferior grade of coal shipped by the
Hatfield Campbell-Creek Coal Co. , all orders to said company has
been cancelled under their contract for October, and that orders had
been placed with the West Va. , Coal Co. , for 1 cars of coal at price
of. 4287 f.o.b. Adyson, Ohio. ,
The Board authorize the Sup °t. , of Light Plant, to contract with the
Leckie Coal Co. , for 60 cars of coal to be shipped during November
at price of 41.35 f.o.b. mines.
Claims in amount of 42398.18 were allowed, and payrolls to November
1st, 1933, were approved by the Board.
The Board together with the City Engineer and Street Commissioner
decided to visit certain streets on the west side of river, to in-
vestigate conditions of same and determine what is best to be done
on the same.
