The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday September 22nd, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A. ,i. All the members of said
Board, Lliessrs, Crab°, Schnieder ana Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Building Inspector, Harry Hodgin, was requested to seek co-operation
of merchants and owners of buildings along Iain Street, to have all
un-used and unnecceseary signs mOVed fro.1- the buildings, a.rdltrash bi-iv:4
etc, removed from sidewalks, in an effort to clear the sidewalks;
also, to have the waste paper receptacles moved onto the side streets
adjacent to <viain Street intersections.
A communication from Typographical Union r301, Geo. Russell, Secy. ,
referred to the :ylayor and Board by council, relative to the city orai
nance requiring- the Union Label on city printing, was received and th••
clerk directed to request ivir. Russell, to appear before the Board for
conference in the matter.
:fir. Schnieder, reported that he had received bids on repairing roof
at .iiarket House, as follows;

" iayne Roofing Co. , bid; '4128. 00; d.r. Schnieder was requested
to take this matter up with council, for an E oprooriatiOn to cover
the above cost, also for additional work necessary on the inside Of
market house.
Claims in amount of '1;8, O4S , 95, were . allowed; and the sum of 0.O, 57B.90
transferred from Light Plant General Fund, to, Bepreciation rune..
