The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Street Commissioner, was rairected to repair the stone steps lead
ins to Police Station on south side of city building
Sup t of Light plant, reported the time lock on vault at the of i c
building in cad shape, and the cost of a new lock would ap;Jroximate

ing should be remodeled and . the vault removed and

the Board decided it unnccces.sary to. purchase new lock at this time .
The Street Co.:i,nissioner, was authorized to use his best judgement in
matter of materials left in wrecking and tearing down the old Crem-
atory, in matter of selling the dame or keeping for use of his de-
partment .
The City Civil Engineer, presented a. communication received from the
Indiana State Board of Health. ; s to complaints received

Board of an epidemic of typhoid. fever, purported to be caused by
draining 1:1ort0n Lake thereby contaminating the wells in that district .
The Board referred the same" to the Board of Public Health together

Claims in amount o;. 42944. 19 were allowed.
