The Street Co.:i,nissioner, was authorized to use his best judgement in matter of materials left in wrecking and tearing down the old Crem- atory, in matter of selling the dame or keeping for use of his de- partment . The City Civil Engineer, presented a. communication received from the Indiana State Board of Health. ; s to complaints received G d by said Board of an epidemic of typhoid. fever, purported to be caused by draining 1:1ort0n Lake thereby contaminating the wells in that district . The Board referred the same" to the Board of Public Health together t;the with city* civil engineer.
