raonday August 2th, 19 .The Special Council Commi.1 tr 13o-T,^ 2L. Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in reS`ular session a the office of sate_ Board
i,ond ay August. 2 th, 19 , at 9 o a clock A.M. All the memoers of said Board
Messrs, C^abo, Schnieder and Williams oei ng present , the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the breceedi g .meeting were read and approved.
Permission was granted the Ladies of the National Recovery Act to
use the Council Chamber for their meeting to be held on Wednesday
ev tli ng next .
Complaint is made of the tops of can coxes and meter boxes , p otrud--
ing above the `ra.ue of the sidewalks over the city, the Clem, was
directed to serve notice on the Richmond Water Works Corporations also
the Indians aas Utilities Company , to make investigation of the con-
dition of their respective curb box tops and meter box tops, ar.d to
place the same in a safe condition, in order to eliminate the T,oasiv
oili ty of persons stuoling or tripping over the same, and for Water
Works Corporation to investigate complaint of deter no; tops being
to light .
Claims in anount of 429 )l were allowed.
