The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Monday August 21st, 1933, at 9a4clock A.M. All the _members of said Boa C.
Messrs, Craoo, Schnieder and Williams being present , the following
proceedings were had, to—wit : .
The minutes of the preceeding meetings were read and approved.
The Board grant unto Olive iio. Thompson, of .Richmond, Indiana., per—
mission to place, keep and maintain on the sidewalks 20 self closing
waste paper receptacles on Main Street and one on South 8th Street
for a period of two years from the 29th day of August, 1933 , The said.
Olive H , Thompson, agrees to hold the city of Richmond harmless from
all damages to Amemoers of the. general public oy reason of said pla.ci. €;
and .naintaining said receptacles on sidewalks as aforesaid, this is
a renewal of old agreement (See agreement on file . ).
Upon recommendation of the. Mayor, the Board allow a claim of 4 50.00
to the American Legion Band, for concerts played in Glen Miller Park
to date. _
The Board allowed claims in amount of y 6, 1236138 and. the transferrin
of 410, 523 . 13, from Light Plant General fund, to Light Plant Deprecil •
ation Reserve Fund.
The Board then adj ourned,
