Friday August 4th, 1933 . •
The Special- Council Committee, Board of Puolic Works of the City of
Richmond, Inuiana,met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday August 4tii, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A,IL All the members of said Board
:Messrs, Craou., Schnieder and Williams , being present, the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
His Honor the ayor, presented report of bills paid on Roosevelt Hill
Improvements, in amount of '0_600. 00, also that the. Golf Course would
not oe aole to meet expenses out of receipts this season, and ask
for an appropriation to cover the above, the Clerk was directed-to
prepare a bill appropriating ,,I2000.00 out of General Fund, to meet
the aoove Dills.
The City Civil Engineer, together with the Street Commissioner, re-
ported a number of streets which should be taken care of this year
by a.pplicatio,n of asphalt in amount of 17420 gallons, and -350 tons
chips, which would require additional appropriation in amount of.
3 , 000. 00; Street Com.nissioner reported he was in need of patching
materials funds requested for same 1500. 00; on motion the Clerk
was directed to prepare a oill appropriating the sum of ` �,-500. 00 out
of general fund to the aoove - account .
The Clerk was directed to send copies of the aoove named a.ppropri-
ation ordinances to Chairman of Ordinance Committee of Council for
the committees information .
The Board. approved the various payrolls to August 1st ,
Claims in amount of yl233. 32 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned;
