Friday July 28th, 19J3,
The Special Council Committee, Board of Puolic Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Friday July 28th, 1933, a t- 9 o a clock A.M. All- the members of said Boars
Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present; the following
proceedings were had, to-wit-:
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon recommendation of Supt. , Hess, the Board awarded contracts
under bids received July 21st, 1933, for equipment at Light Plant
as follows, to-wit : -
To McAlear• Mlfg. , Co. , Two Automatic Float-Controlled Electric Alarm
Switches for High pressure Heater & Evaporator- Condenser, complete
under Item 44 @ 4130.00 complete.
To Acme Engineering Agency, Two Automatic Float-Controlled continu-
ous Drainers for High Pressure Heater & Evaporator Condenser
A267.00, complete as per alternate bid. Item ; 5.
-o, Acme Engineering Agency; Two Automatic Float-Controlled Continu-
ous Drainers for Evaporator Coils, under Item ii6, 4173 . 00, com.cletea

The Board directed Sup 't. , of Plant to advertise for oids for
Weighing Machines etc. , under Items #1 & 2, as per specifications,
olds to be received August llth, 1933, at 9 :30 A.Mia (e. s. t . )
The Board received Qopy- of President ° s Reemployment Agreement,under
th:e Lvational Industrial Recovery Act . , which was discussed at some
length, and same was taken under advisement for further information
as to what is expected of the City.
Claims in amount of 415, 264.27 were allowed, and the sum of $11,080. 15
transferred from Light Plant General Fund to Depreciation Fund. ,
No further ousiness appearing,
