Monday July 17th, 1933• --
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board.
Monday July 17th, 1933, at 9 ,o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Craoo, Schnieder and Williams being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
A petition signed by Chas. Marting et . al, praying for extension of
water main in South 3rd Street, from South "P" to "Q" Street, was
received, and referred to Richmond Water Works Corporation for inves--
igation and report .
The Clerk was directed to prepare an ordinance appropriating the sum
of 14-500.00 out of the earnings of the Municipal Electric Lighting &
Power Plant, to the account of payment of gross income taxes of plant .
The Clerk was directed to prepare a resolution, authorizing the Mayo - 0
to make application to the National Industrial. Recovery-J.ACtXxx x xxY
Administrator for the district comprising the State ofhuydn ,, :for 0 _
a loan in amount of 420,000. 00, from the United States Government
under the aforesaid act, for the purpose of financing the project
of construction of intercepting sewers and sewage treatment works
for the City of Richmond, Indiana, and present the same to the com-
mon council at their regular meeting to be held this P . M. for their
consideration and action thereon.
The Board approved the various payrolls to July 16th, 1933, and.
approved claims in amount of 4169. u6.
No further business appearing,
