The Special Council • Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, ..Indianar met in regular session at the office of said Boar. Monday June 5th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the following . proceedings were had, to—wit :- The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. ilessrs, Nixon and Crawford, appeared before the Board, requesting that the city furnish electric current free to the Wayne County Commissary, as the Board has already requested the City Attorney for an opinion as the legality of the city furnishing such current free . the Board did not feel -free to act on same until such opinion is rendered and take the matter under advisement until Friday of this week. The Board awarded contracts forthe following coal, to—wit : " Muff Grain and Coal Co. , 150 tons more or less Ky._ Nut & Slack coal, delivered in bins at City Building at $3. 73 per ton; 75 tons more or less Ky. Nut and Slack coal delivered in bins at number 2, CD - 4 and 5 hose houses at $3. 78 per ton. 10 tons more or less Pocahonta= POZ Run of Mine Coal, delivered to Detention Hospital at $4.44 per ton. all as per bid received therefore June 2nd, 1933. 11 Niewoehner—Long Corporation; 2O tons more or less Pocahontas Lump or Egg Coal, delivered in bins at No. 3, fire station at 45.17 ton; 50 tons more or less, of #4 Hazard Nut Coal, to be delivered on switch for Glen Miller Park at 53. 77, per ton, all as per their bid received June 2nd, 1933.. The Sup "t. ; of Park was directed' to have the roof on shed at North 10th Street property repaired. Claims in amount of 4735.07 were allowed.
