Friday May 26th, 1933.
The Special 0ouncil Committee:, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met -in regular - session at the office of said Boar.
Friday May 26th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said. Boa d
Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Street Commissioner and City Civil Engineer, were directed to
make arrangement with W. L. Magaw, for scarifying various streets
over the city, in preparing the same for resurfacing with the new
disc scarifier, at very least price obtainable. "
The Board authorized Board member Schnieder, to have new hot water
tank and heater installed at Number 3 Hose House at price of 20®QO
complete.
Whereas, the Board has heretofore advertised for refreshment privil-
eges for theyear in Glen Miller Park, with the privilege of extend-
ing contract for an additional two years, bids to be received May
19th, 1933; no bids having been received on said date, the Board re-
ceived sealed proposal from Earl J . Moore, _ for said priviliges in
sum of $450.00 per year, this A.M. with his personal check in sum of
$225.00 one half of bid price, with the promise to pay the additiona
4225.00 on September 1st, 1933, back
5 P -also promising to pay rent of
250.00 past due, in payments beginning July $25. 00 or more, until
same is paid. The Board accepted said proposal, subject to the decis-
ion of the City Attorney, as to the legality of entering into said
contract. -
