The Special Council . Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of Board on
Monday April 3rd, 1933i at 9. o 'clock A. M. Messrs, Schnieder and Wil-•
liams, present; Mr. Crabb, absent; Two mmembers • of said Board being
present , the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved -as read. ,
Messrs, J . W. Mueller, Garfield Dixon and Thos. Turner, together with
Sup 't. , of the Light Plant, appeared before the Board in a conferenc-
on the improvements at the Cities Light Plant, and explaining the
various phases of their work in connection with said- improvements.
. Sup-'t. , of Light Plant, was authorized to contract for two cars of
coal per day delivered to Light Plant during the month of Apri1, 1933
with the West Va. , Coal & Coke Company, at price of $1. 77 per ton
f. o.b. Addiston, Ohio. or .350 f. o. b. mines. •
Various payrolls to April 1st , 1_933, were approved.

Nunc-protunc. The Board approved specifications for equipment to
oe used at Ai.E.L.& P.P. as follows, bids to be received April 21,
1933 at 10 A. M.
Item- #1- Suction & Discharge circulating water piping complete with
fi.ttings, bolts,nuts,gaskets and expansion- joints.
Item #2- Six Cast-iron low-pressure gate valves for circulating
water piping.
Item' #3- Structural Steel for Turbine Room floor, complete.
Item #4- Automatic Steam Trip Valve complete, including temperature
control equipment.
Item #5-One Condensate-return pump; with driving motor & baseplate
Item #6-One Softened-Water pump.;with driving motor &' baseplat.e,complei
Item #7-One Drip=return 'pump, with driving motor & baseplate, comp. .
Item #8-Two Evaporator Feed Pumps;• 'driving . motors ' & baseplates, com.
Item #9-Three Float Control Valves Complete, for boiler feed water
regulation.
Item #10-- One- Steel or cast iron extension to storage capacity of
Deaerating heater.
