The Special Opuncil Committee, Board of Puolic Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of the Board
Monday March 2Oth, 1933, at . 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, Schnieder and
Williams present; Mr. Crabb aosent ; two members of said Board being
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
After a conference held by the Board with Will Rellee, representing
the Richmond Civic .Amphitheatre Commission, city engineer, park supt
street commissioner and council members, in matter of ball field in
Theodore Roosevelt Field, Glen Miller Park: The Board instructed the
Clerk to prepare- a recommendation authorizing the Board to have the
ball diamonds in said field placed' in proper condition, by excavating
grading, sodding & tiling the same, under the supervision of city
engineer,park supt. , and street commissioner, out of available funds
heretofore appropriated, without any additional appropriation, and
to present the same to the Common Council at their meeting to be hel
this evening, for their consideration and approval.
Mr. Hess, confered with the Board, in matter of complaints -from happy
hollow residents as to. water backing up • into their 'cellers on account
of light plant dam, and the city civil engineer was-directed to make
a survey and take levels at. various intervals, in order that- we -may
ascertain as to whether the city is at fault by reconstruction of
said dam.
No further ousiness appearing,

Friday March 24th, 1933..
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana., met in regular session- at the office of said Board
Friday March 24th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Schnieder and
Williams present ; Mr. Crabo absent; two members. of said Board being
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Board received a copy of order as approved by the Puolic Service
Commission of Indiana; Supplement No. 1. P .S. C. I . No.- E-14, temporary
supplement to order No-.E-13 Rate Schedule. Because of Banking re-
strictions the net rate shall be charged, effective February 27, 1933
and applying until March 20, 1933, approved March 17, 1933.
Sup 't. Hess stated that he was not ready- to make a. report on the
Il • purchase of ' coal at Light Plant at this time.
Claims in amount- of $1922. 74, were allowed.
There being no further ousiness,
The Board then adjourned,
