The Special Council Committee; • Board. of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session • at the office of Board oh
Monday March 13th, 1933,. at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Schnieder and
Williams present; Mr. - Crabb, absent Two -members of said Board .being
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
D. C. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant, requested permission to- confer'
with the Indiana- Puolic Service Commission, in matter of allowing
discounts on.. bills for electricity not paid within the discount per-
iod, due to the Bank Holliday,- dr. Hess', was directed to confer with
the Commission either by telephone or go to Indianapolis if found
necessary.
Mr. Hess, read his answer to queries made pertaining to the duties
etc. , of the Sup 't. , of Light Plant, published in the Forum of the
Richmond Daily Palladium, and ask the approval of the Board to have
said answer published in said Palladium, permission granted.

Claims in amount of $18,476. 52 were allowed, no further business
appearing,.
The Board then adjourned,

Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday March 17th, 1933.
The Special Council Corlmittee, Board of Public. Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of Board on
Friday March 17th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A. I. Messrs, Schnieder and Wi _-
h ams present. Mr. Crabb absent; two members of Board being present
the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting read and approved.
The Board approved' an agreement by and between B. A.Mariani Co. , inc.
and City of Richmond, Indiana, and authorize the Mayor • to execute
the same. (See agreement ) .
Sup 't. , Hess, was authorized to confer with coal operators, at Cin-
cinnati, Ohio, in an effort to contract for light plant supply of
coal for the next year, as present contract expires April 1, 1933.
The Board grant permission to a Mrs. Daniels, to garden South llth
Street, south of Perry Street, with the understanding that the same

be kept free from weeds and noxious growths, the same to be planted
at her own risk, as said ground is opened for street purposes.
Claims in amount of $37, 634.93 were allowed.
The Board approved the various payrolls to March 16th, 1933.
The Board then adjourned,
