HomeMy Public PortalAbout02-17-1933 111_ Office of Special Council Committee City of Richmond, Indiana, --- - - -- - -Monday February 13th, 1933•- - --The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boara Monday February 13tn, 1933 , at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Schnieder and Williams being present ; Mr. Craob, absent , Two members of said Board • .being present , the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Upon recommendation of D. C. Hess, Sup 't . , of M. E. L. & P. P. the following contracts were awarded under bids received February 10th 11 1933, as follows, viz : " Pittsburgh Piping & Equipment Co. , Pittsburgh, Pa. , Item #1, Purifier Drainage Piping--- • • 4 510.00 " Bailey Meter Company, Cincinnati , Ohio. Item #2, Flow Meter for Boiler Feed 4416. 25 " Acme Engineering Agency, Indianapolis, Indiana. Item 44, Steam Traps, two 0156.00 " Joslyn Mfg. , Co. , Ft. Wayne, Indiana, ., Item #5, Reinforcing Steel 0507. 00 Claims in amount of b377. 93 were allowed. The Board then adjourned, .Prest. of Board Attest : Clerk of Board Office of Special Council Committee City of Richmond, Indiana, Friday February 17th, 1933 . The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of Board on Friday February 17th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Schnieder and Williams present ; Mr. Craoo, absent ; two members of Board being pres ent, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : Minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & approved. Permission was granted the Standard Oil Co. , of Indiana, to cut the curd, remove south railing of Main Sy . bridge a distance of 40 ft . al„o to build abutment wail & replace railing thereon according to plans approved oy City Civil Engineering and City Plan Commission. Upon recommendation of Sup 't . , D. C. Hess, the Board awarded contrac s as follows, for equipment at Light Plant : Item 116, Strong, Carlisle and Hammond Co. , 0168.00 Item 7i 7, Chapman Valve Company 326. 70 Item it v, & 9, Richmond Electric Co. , 1013 . 60 -2% Sup 't, Hess, was authorized to ascertain prices for front yard im- provent at Light Plant ; also difference in cost between machine and hand labor.
