The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City o
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of the Boa d
Monday January 30th, 1933, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Schnieder and
Williams present ; Mr. Crabo absent ; two members of said Board bein:
present . The following. proceedings were had, to-wit :.
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons whose property
is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 991-1932, foi
the improvement of South 5th Street, by erecting and installing a
system of street lights: and light posts on both sides of South 5th
Street, from South "E" to "G" Street. No one appearing or remon-
strating the Board approved a final assessment roll confirming the
original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct th
same be forthwith transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board received a communication from Mr. Thos. Greenstreet, call-
ing attention to the dangerous and slippery condition of Liberty
Avenue south of South"H" Street, the same was referred to the City
Engineer for investigation and report .
The Street Commissioner was directed to repair the sidewalk at the
Northeast corner of South 6th & "E" Streets.
The Clerk was directed to* write to Mr. Geo. Derbyshire, Sup 't. of
C. & O. Ry. Co. , extending_to him the sympathy of the Board on the
death of B.V.Davis,. Division Engineer of C. & 0. Ry. ,.
Claims in amount of 0_4, 126. 12, were allowed. •
The Board then adjourned,
