The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the Oity of Richmond,. Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar, Monday December 19th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members Messrs -C'rabb., • Schnieder and Williams being present, the following proceed- ings- were had, to-wit : • The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Board held a conference with Attorney J . F.Robbins, and City At- torney R.K. Shiveley, in matter of case of L. Reece VS; City of Rich- mond, which was referred to the City Attorney for adjustment . Claims in amount of $4538. 28 were allowed. The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Beare Friday December 23rd, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members Messrs, Orabb, Schnieder and Williams being present, the following proceed- ings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Pursuant to advertisement, the Board received bids for the purchase from the City, an accumulation of scrap copper, scrap iron, etc. , commonly known as "Junk" at the City Light Plant, which the City pr• oses to sell, as follows; " Sam Jaffe, Company, bid; Scrap Iron p3.00 per net ton No. 1, Copper Wire .03.1/80 per lb. Light Sheet Copper . 02 ¢ per lb. Mixed Copper Wire & Light Copper .03 ¢ per lb. The bid of Sam Jaffe Co. , being the onit bid submitted, the same was referred to Sup 't. , .of Light Plant 'for investigation and report. • The Street Commissioner, was directed to clean Main Street, by .flush- ing -the street with water. Claims 'in amount of 05, 200. 59, were allowed. The Board decide unless a call is issued therefore, there will be no meeting of said Board until next Friday December 30, 1932.
