' The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
I Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board.
Monday November 28th, -1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of sari
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present. The fol
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
In matter of providing sleeping quarters for unemployed transients
seeking shelter, the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant was
instructed to construct and install approximately 87 pipe bunks, in
the quarters being prepared in casement of city hall, according to
the plans submitted by Sup 't . , Hess.
Claims in amount of $16, 095.43 were allowed. , there being no further
business,
The Board then adjourned,

Friday December 2nd, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
• Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of Board on
Friday December 2nd, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M.A11 th,e members 0f said
Board, Messrs, Orabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present. The fol
lowing procedings were had, to-wit :
The Minutes of the prebeeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board received bids for furnishing "Four Toilets and one 36"
Urinal, complete to be installed in city building as follows, viz :
"Economy Plumbers, bid;
4--Toilets Vit .-China Tank one 36" Urinal, price delivered-$70.30.
"Philip Birck & Son, bid;
1-36" Urinal-$25.11-0; Toilets-"$,1)+.40 each, Total- delivered-03.00
Upon investigation and recommendation of Mr. Schnieder, the con-
tract for furnishing 4-toilets & 1-36" urinal, was .awarded to the
Economy Plumbers at bid price of $70.30.
A communication was received from Jenkins Bros, Insurance Agency,
that the bond of Joseph Dacey, covering the operation of curb pump
filling station. at #15 North 7th Street, requesting the same be can-
celled as Mr. Dacey has not paid the premium. The Clerk was directed
to notify Mr. Dacey, to remove said curb pump at #15 North 7th Stree
in order that said bond may be released by the City.
The Board approved the various payrolls to December 1st, 1932.
There being no further business,
