Office of Special Council Committee •
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday November 21st, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday November 21st, 1932, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the members of
said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :-
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.

Street Commissioner, Schneider reported to the Board that the) con-
dition of Whitewater Boulevard, it was inadvisable to proceed with
finishing the resurfacing of the same at this time. Mr. Schneider
was directed to proceed with the resurfacing of the boulevard and
the. National Road west of 5th Street, as soon as weather conditions
would permit.
Claims in amount of y 7109. •3 were allowed.
The Boar then adjourned,

The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar•
Friday November 25th, 1932, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the members of
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present, the fol
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon recommendation of Mayor Harris, and Chief of Police, the Street
Commissioner was directed to construct cement floor in basement of
City Building, in the twO extra rooms, to provide more room for hand
ling unemployed ersons, seeking shelter during the night time, and �

the supervision of- the City Engineer.
D-: C. -Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant, was granted permission to atten
til-e Power Show, to be held the first week in December, 1932, in New ,
York City.;' 1egimate expenses to be paid out of ivl.E.L.& P.P. funds.
In matter of extension of water main in S.W. "A" St; also South 3rd
St, from "P" to "Q" Street, The Richmond Water Works Corp . , reported
that the revenues on both streets would not be sufficient to give a
fair return on-the investment, and the expense chargeable to the
City on the inch-foot basis would be quite heavy. Tie Board order
the report. placed on file and read to council at next meeting.
The Board then adjourned,
