Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday November 4th, 1932.
The Special Council Committee', Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boara
Friday November 11-th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of the
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present. The fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board met to hear remonstrances and take final action• on Declara-
tory Resolution No. 24-7-1932, for the vacation of 7 feet off of the
north side of South "B" Street, from South 2nd Street to the right
of way of the Chesapeake & Ohio Railway. No remonstrance have been
filed or presented against said vacation, thereupon being fully ad-
vised in the matter, the Board takes final action on said resolution
confirming without modification, all former action taken on the same
And the Board now orders that a list or roll be prepared of. all own-
ers or holders of property, and of valuable interests therein, sought
to be taken or to be injuriously affected, which list or roll shall
also describe the property beneficially affected.
CD The City Civil Engineer, was directed to make repairs to North 10th
Street bridge, damaged by automobile accident.
�:- The Board authorize a Mr. Winter, to furnish and paint all the metal
parts on city hall except the roof at total cost of 0135.00.
Mr. D. C. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant, submitted a copy of letter
written to the Worthington Pump & Machinery Co. , in answer to letter
of criticism received from said company by the Board, as follows
(see copy of letter hereto attached. )
Claims in amount of $1857.92 were allowed and the Board approved
the various payrolls to November 1st, 1932.
No further business appearing,
The Board then adjourned,
