Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday October 31st, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Monday October 31st, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the member
of said Board, Messrs, Crabb,, Schnieder and Williams being present,
the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
On motion of Mr. Schnieder, the Board awarded the contract for in-
stalling hot water heatImg furnace in residence building in Glen
Miller Park, used as residence to Sup °t. , of Parks, to Guy Brown11
as per bid submitted October 28th, 1932, Complete-y$262. 50.
Complaint was received as to overhanging schruboery and low limbs
of trees adjacent to the property of Mr. C. A. McGuire, along South
17th & 18th Streets and the Reeveston Road, Clerk was directed to
notify Mr. McGuire, and request that he have same trimmed.
The Board received and accepted plans of materials for Light Plant
bids to be opened November 14th, 1932, as follows:
Item #1 - Pipe,Fittings,Drip-Pockets, and Manifolds; complete with
Flanges,Bolt-Studs, Nuts and Gaskets,.

Item #2 - Crossover Pipe high to low pressure header; complete with
Flanges, Bolt-Studs, Nuts and Gaskets.
Item #3 - Valves, complete for steam and boiler feed headers.
Item #4 - Hangers, Anchors, Brackets and Supports, complete.
Item #6 - House Switchboard.
Claims in amount of 012, 544.88 were allowed. .
City Civil Engineer and Street Commissioner were directed to in-
vestigate the sewer at Thompson & Taylor Coal Yard, as to backing
into premises of said yard.
The Board then adjourned,
