The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board ' Friday October loth, 1932., at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams being present. The fol- lowing proceedings were had, to-wit : 1The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. ! The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for removing the old and furnishing and installing a new hot water heating furnace, in the residence used by Park Superintendent, in Glen Miller Park. The Street Commissioner, was directed to prepare Whitewater Boule- vard by placing emulsified Asphalt on roadway that said roadway ; will be in proper condition for travel for the coming winter months. Mr. E. Haas, a member of the City Plan Commission, appeared before ; the Board outlining the position of the plan commission, together with the Indiana State Highway Commission, in an effort to have Southwest & Northwest 13th Street, paved from the National Road to Indiana Avenue as apart of State Road No. 627. The Board on motion approved the tentative idea, and assured Mr. Haas, they will co-oper- --y ate with the plan commission in said matter. Claims in amount of $9424.46 were allowed. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Orabb, Schnieder and Williams being present . The fol- lowing proceedings were gad, to-wit : , The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. The Board approved the contract of the Ingersoll-Rand Company, for furnishing the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant, with 15000 sq-ft. Condenser and Auxiliaries. Mr. Schnieder, was authorized to place insurance both fire & wind storm, on the properties in Glen Miller Park n acquired from the Jos. Hill Co. , i. e. double resident building, garage and oarn.
