Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday_ October 3rd,1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works 'of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Monday October 3rd, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Ali the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabby, Schnieder and Williams, being present, the fol-
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
Considerable complaint being received of the stench arising from the
sewer out-lets in river bottom at end of Randolph, Lincoln, Pearl an
Kinsey Streets, the City Engineer and Street Commissioner were in-
structed to investigate the condition- and report as to the manner in
eliminating the same in river bottom.
The Clerk was authorized to appear before the Wayne County Adjustment
Board, in matter of explaination of the city budget and tax levy for
the year 1933.
The Board approved the various payrolls to October lst, 1932.
The Board then adjourned,

The Special Council Committee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, met in regular session at the office of Board, gmiday Oct.
II 7th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M.All the members of said Board, Messrs,
Crabb,Schnieder-& Williams being -present . the following proceedings
were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Street Commissioner, was directed to construct new sidewalks in
N.7th Street along park property; also, to set back the curb at S.E.
corner of Main & Easthaven Avenue.
Upon recommendation of City Plant Commission, the Board order resolu-
tion prepared for vacating,* ft. off the north side of South"Bt° St.
from 2nd Street west.
Upon recommendation of Sup 't. , Hess, the Board awarded the contract
for 15,000 sq-ft . Condenser & Auxiliaries for Light Plant , to The
Ingersoll-Rand Manufacturing Co. , $22, 000.00. as per bid:
The Sup 't. , of Light Plant was authorized to advertise for bids for
necessary piping and valves for improvements at plant,,
Claims in amount of 416, 8614 . 74 were allowed.
