Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday August 29th, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the. office of the
said Board, Monday August 29th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All. the •
members of said Board, Mess_ rs:;--.Crabb4 Schnieder and Williams, be-
ing present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :.

The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board approved the contract of the Allen Air Appliance Co. ,
for furnishing Stationary Vacurn Cleaning Equipment at Light Plant
as per their proposal under Item 77, received July 8th, 1932.
The claim of the E. & J . Sales Corporation, for One E. & J . Re-
suscitator, in amount of 4367. 50, was on motion referred to the
Board of Public Health.
Claims in amount of $ -6, 86. 92 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,

Elriday September. 2nd, 1932.
The Special Committee of Council, Board of Public Works of the City II
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Friday September 2nd, 1932, at 9; o 'clock A.M. All the mem-
bers of said Board, Messrs, Crabb,. Schnieder and Williams, being
present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board directed the Clerk to advertise for bids for furnlshing
to the City of Richmond, Indiana 's, Municipal Electric Lighting &
Power Plant, the following equipment for use of said plant , bids
to be received up to the hour of 10 A.M. Monday September 19, 1932
as follows, to-wit :
Item 41 - Condenser & Auxiliaries; Item 42-Steam Desuperheater; •
Item 43-Steam Pressure Reducing Valve; Item 44-Steam Turbine Start-
ing Valve; Item .#5-Metal Stairs; Item #6-Potheads.
The Street Commissioner, was directed to clean the river channel at
north side of South side bridge, .at Garden Avenue sewer, by man
power, and not to use machine.
The Clerk was directed to again notify Wm. Griffin to remove the
fence in alley east of Northwest 5th Street, as laid out 'in the
• William Griffin's, Addition to the City.
Claims in amount of 0837. 55 were allowed, the Board approved the
various payrolls to September 1, 1932.
