Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
. • Monday August 1st, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boa °d
Monday August 1st, 1932, at 3o 'clock A. M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being .present . The
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board received bids for legal advertising for the year ending
July 25th, 1933, from the Palladium Publishing Corporation, as fol-
lows, Richmond Item, 644 each 100 words for 1st and subsequent in-
sertions of the same legal, or approximately ,550 an inch.
Richmond Palladium, 700 each 100 words per insertion.
The Board award contract for legal advertising to the Richmond Items
Street Co missioner, was directed to repair the alley between South
2nd & 3rd Streets, between South"B" &. " C" Sheet so as to relbt e
water standing in said alley. also, to tit "'the curb at Northwest
corner of South llth & "B" Streets.
The Board received a copy of Bill pending before the extra session
of the Indiana General Assembly, from the Municipal Rights League
of Indiana, affecting municipaly owned utilities, the same was read
discussed and referred to Sup 't . , of Light Plant, to prepare a reso-
lution to be submitted to council at their meeting this evening,
recommending changes in said bill, as • the Board was not in favor of
the bill as presented.
Claims in amount of $29j 017. 68 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
