The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond,. Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boa •
Friday July 29th, 1932, .at .9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs, Crabb and Schnied
er present, Mr. Williams absent. Two memuers of said Board, oeing
present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & approved.
The Board adopted the following resolution, to-wit :

IN MEMORY OF •
George F. Hamilton, President of the Board of Metropolit-
an Police Commissioners of the City of Richmond, Indiana, who died
July 2$th, 1932, ay his home after a brief illness.
Mr. Hamilton was a faithful, courteous and an efficient City
Official, He was also active in all the duties of citizenship, in
the business life of the city, in its civic and religious activities
he fulfilled his duty and more.
He will be sorely missed by °those with whom he• has heretofore
been so closely associated, but the example of his faithfulness,
his efficiency, honesty and good citizenship, will serve as an in-
= spiration to others to greater efforts in those things which make
for the common good. •
Be it resolved, by this Board that this memorial be made a part
of .the records of this meeting, and a suitable resolution be prepare•
and presented to the Common Council at their next regular meeting
for their consideration and approval.
Claims in amount of W4639.18 were allowed, no further business being
presented,
The Board then adjourned,
