Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana, -
_ Friday July 22nd, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of
said Board, on Friday July 22nd; 1932, at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the
members of said Board, Messrs, Crab°, Schnieder and Williams,
being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
It was reported to the Board, by Messrs, Brehm and Dillman, that
certain citizens of this City, have tentatively agreed to furnish
four additional "Flood Lights" for lighting of Roosevelt Field,
providing the City would have the same erected, installed and pay
for electric energy for lighting said field, and .have the said
field lighted during the progress of ball games and other athletic
sports, after nightfall.
The M,E.L.& P.P. were authorized to erect and install said lights
at the expense of the City, if and when_ said lights are donated
and accepted by the said City.
Claims in amount of 19, 830.3+ were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,

The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City o1
Richmond, Indiana,met in regular session at the office of said Bo.rd
Monday July 25th, 1932, at 9 o ' clock A.M. All the members of said
Board, messrs, Crabb, Schnieder & Williams, being present the fol
lowing proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.

The Board place the Park Sup 't . in charge of the baseball diamonds
in Roosevelt Field, and instruct him to manage and supervise the
same, as he may deem best in the interest of all concerned.
The Board received Quit Claim Deed, signed by Marshall Hawkes &
:iary L. Hawkes husband & wife, fleeing to the City a part of S.W.q ar.
sec. 5, twsp.13, rage. 1,west . at west end of South"G"St,bridge, the
same was accepted aid ordered recorded.

The Board received notice from Robbins & Robbins Attys. , for Leona d.
Reece, of an accident to said L.Reece, by the breaking of part of
the Giant Swing, at playgrounds in Glen Miller Park, June 26, 1932.
wherein. said Leonard Reece sustained a compound fracture of the
left arm and other injuries, the same was referred to Sup 't . of
Parks and City Atty. for investigation and report .
Claims in amount of $2114.80 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,
