Office of Special Council Committee_
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday July 15th _1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, on Friday July 15th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A. M. Messrs;- -Crabb;l&
Schnieder; -present; Mr. Williams being absent; two members of said
Board being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board authorized the painting of Market House on the inside; als
th.e tables etc. ,

Upon recommendation of Mr. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant, the Board
award contracts for equipment at Light Plant, to the several named
firms as per bids received July 8th, 1932, to-wit :
" Dean-Hill Pump Co. , Item 44, Boiler Feed Pumps @ $9, 114.00.
"Swartwout Co. , Item 5 & 6, Automatic Boiler Feed Water Regulators;
and Automatic Boiler Feed Excess-Pressure Controllers ®--$1, 503.00.
" Allen Air Appliance Co. , Item 7 7 Stationary Vacum Cleaning
Equipment g - Wl,305.00
" General Electric Company, --Cs `"
EN. Item Reactors, 1, 135•00.
All certified checks and cash money deposited with bids on equip-
C:q ment and materials for light plant, turned over to Mr. Hess Suo 't. ,
of Light Plant, to return to the various bidders..
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids for furnishing and in-
stalling used or new boiler at Green house in Glen Park.
Sup 't. Hess of Light Plant , was authorized to take two weeks 'vacation
without pay, beginning today.
Claims in amount of w2, 764.80 were allowed.
The Board then adjourned,

The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Monday July lath, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Crabb and Schniedel'
present . Mr. Williams, absent; Two members of said ,Board being pres-
ent, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & approved.
The Park Sup 't . , was directed to confer with Street Commissioner in
an effort to have the ground purchased from the Hill Company, filled
by the city dumping trash on said ground.
There being no further- business appearing,
The Board then adjourned,
