The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in. regularsession at the office of said Boa d
Monday July llth, 1932, at 9 o 'clock. A. M. All the members of said
Board, MMIess.rs, Crabb, Schnieder and Williams, being present . The
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon recommendation of Mr. Hess, Sup 't. , of Light Plant , the addition-
al insurance necessary on Light Plant was awarded- to the following
agencies, to-wit :
"Richmond Properties Corporation-- Fire insurance $15, 700.00
"Arnold Kline, Fire Insurance 15, 000.00.
Pilgrim 's Sons, Inc. , Fire Insurance 415, 000.00
Cutter & Cox, Fire Insurance ¢20, 000.00
"Richmond Properties Corporation-- Tornado Insurance----$98,, 600.00.
Upon- recommendation of Mr.-Hess the Board awarded- the following
contracts as per bids received July 8 t h, 1932, as follows :
Item #9- Cable; i
Richmond Electric Co. , No. 1-2-3-5-6-7-11-12-13-14-15 & 16,r (they
being local people and all bids on the above items being the same ;

Westinghouse Electric Supply Co. , awarded contract under -8-9 &10.
of Item #9, for cable. - - -
Item ( 10. for- steel awarded to Fort Pitt Bridge Co. ., they being
- the lowest and best bid received, ® 1064.00.
- • Claims in amount of $10, 063.06 were allowed. - •
- No further business appearing,
