Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday July 1st, 1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Friday July 1st, 193.2,- at 9 o 'clock A. M. All the members of
said Board, Messrs, Orabb, Schnieder and Williams being present.
The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
The Board received' bids for new doors at number 5 hose house as fol-
lows, to-wit
" Kiromac Mfg. Co. , bid;
Kiromac overhead type door complete for main entrance 4157. 50
" Commons Lumber Co. , bid;
One overhead door complete . 0175.00
Overhead Door Sales Co. , aid: -
One overhead door complete, with trip pub. automatic 4161.00
Upon recommendation of the Building Inspector, the contract was
. awarded to Overhead Door Sales Co. , which he considered the best and
most complete bid. • • - -

C7D Sup 't. , of Light Plant , was authorized to contract with the E. A.
• Mariani Co. , inc. , for underground work in installing electric wires
=P` under the river.
The Board approved plans submitted by the City Civil Engineer, for
Hot Water Heating System for No. 3 Fire Station.
The Clerk was directed to prepare an ordinanbe appropriating the sum
of 42, 000.00 out of the general fund, for repairs to public buildings
and installing heating system in No. 3 Fire Station.
The Board approved the various payrolls to July 1st, 1932.
Claims in amount of 416,071.35 were allowed.
