Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar Friday May 27th, 1932,- at 9 o 'clock A..M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Crabb.: and Schnieder being present, the following pro- ceedings were had, to-wit : The City Engineer, .reported that Earlham College desired to set back the curb at driveway entering into College drive on National Road, stating they had no money available to do such work, and requesting the city to do said work which would cost approximately $100.00. The Board decide that as the city had no available funds for such work they could not have the same done at cities expense, but would how- ever furnish engineering services on said work without cost to the college. The Bu-ilding Inspector reported that some painting and papering was necessary at the Detention Hospital, and the caretaker had stated he would take off the old paper, and do the necessary painting with- out cost to the city, if the city would furnish material and have said papering done, the Inspector was authorized to proceed and have same done. The Board received bids for furnishing the following coal, 150 tons more or less, N.& S. City Bldg. , 75 tons #2-4 & 5 hose house N.& S. 20 tons, Pocahontas Lump or Egg at #3 hose house; 10 tons Pocahonta Mine Run, to Detention Hospital, 50 tons, N .& S. or M.R. on board cars for Parks, as follows to-wit : . .
