The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday March 28th, 1932, at 9 o°clock A.M.. Messrs, Crabb and Schnieder being present . Mr. Ford absent ; Two members' of said Board being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. Permission was granted to R. Wessell to cut the curb for driveway on 11 west side of South 20th. Street, at Lot 143,Reeveston, Addition. The following estimate for moving the traffic light from 16th & Main Street, to South 5th & "A" Streets was received as follows : Labor & Truck--$70.00; 2-steel posts-470.00; Misc. material-$10.00; 10% overhead & Eingineering-$15.00, total estimate $165.00. The Board rejected all bids received on instrument boards for light plant, and direct Sup 't. , to re-advertise for bids on same. I. Messrs, Orabb and Schnied er, present. Mr. Ford absent ; Two members of said Board being pres- ent the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. The Street Commissioner, was directed to set back the curb at the - Southeast corner of Northwest 1st & Kinsey Streets. - The City Civil Engineer, was authorized to purchase a Self controlled - Automatic Stump Pump,- to be installed in the pit at the sewage pump; ing station at cost of $85.00. The Engineer was directed to prepare plans for heating plant to be installed' at No. 3 Hose House in- the near future.- - The Street Commissioner was authori-zed- to have the balance of the cement street on North 10th Street, resurfaced. The complaint was made by Dr. Geo. Ferling members of the City Boar , -of Health, that the Richmond Gravel- Company, were permitt-ing gravel to lay in the river bed, therby diverting the stream to the west of its proper course, The City Civil Engineer was instructed to take this matter up with said gravel company in an effort to have same,-- properly adjusted. - - ho further business appearing, The Board then adjourned, Prest-protem of Board Attest : Zte-Lefi,04—‹ • Clerk of Board
