Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
. Monday March 7th,1932.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board, Monday March 7th, 1932, at .9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs., Crabb &
Schnieder being present;. Mr. Ford, absent;. Two members of said
Board being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :
Due to the absence of Mr. Ford; Mr. Crabb was selected as presiden1
of the meeting.
Claims in amount, of k3930.27 were allowed.
The Clerk was authorized to order a car load of N.& S.Coal . tr 43.80
ton delivered to city building. from the Muff Coal Co. ,
The Board then adjourned,

The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of. the City'
of Richmond, Indiana, met- in regular session at the office of said
Board, Friday March 11th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Crabb., &
Schnieder being present; Mr. Ford absent; Two members of said Board
being present . The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meetings were approved as read.
Upon recommendation of the Department of Public Safety, the Street
Commissioner was instructed to install metal stop signs at the in-
tersection of South "C" Street at South 5th Street.
The Superintendent of Municipal Electric Lighting. & ;Power Plant
was authorized to advertise for bids, for Coal Bunker and Shute;
also, Miscellaneous Stairways, "I" Beams and Columns for boiler
room at Light Plant.
Claims in amount of589.09 were allowed.
The Clerk was authorized to return certified check to Westinghouse
Electric & Mfg. Co. , in amount of $7,000.00 deposited with their
bid on 15,000 K.W.Turbo-Generator & equipment.
The Board then adjourned,
