The SpecialCouncil Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar Friday March 4th, 1932, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Crabb and Schnieder present; Mr. Ford, absent. Two members of said Board being present the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. Mr. Ford, being absent on account of illness, Mr. Crabb, was selected Prest. protem of Board. And now there is presented to the Special Committee of Council acting as a Board of Works, a contract inlviting between the City of Richmond, Indiana, and General Electric Company of Schnectady, New York, concerning the purchase by said City of Richmond from said Company of .One 15,000 K.W. S`O% Power Factor, 3600 R.P.M. Turbo Gen- erator; One Air Cooler; One 60 K.W. Motor Generator Exciter Set, stipulating a total contract price for all of said equipment of y 234,315.00, and further stipulating that the same should be deliver ed f.o. b. upon the side track of the Municipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant in the City of Richmond, Indiana, upon the terms, con- ditions, and with the guarantees stipulated and set forth in said contract; and the said purchase of said turbo-generator and other equipment and apparatus is now approved by the Special Committee of Council at said price and upon the terms, conditions, stipllations and guarantees set forth in said written contract, and said written contract is now approved, and is now signed and executed by said Special Committee on behalf of said City of Richmond by the members of said Committee acting as a Committee and for and on behalf of said City of Richmond, and it is ordered that when the name is prop- erly signed by the Mayor of said City on behalf of said City, it shall be submitted to the said General Electric Company for final execution by its proper officer or officers and by attaching thereto its corporate seal, all of which is fully and finally ordered and approved by said Special Committee of Council acting as a Board of Works for said City of Richmond, Indiana.
