The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana; met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Friday February 26th, .1932, at 9 o ' clock A.M. Messrs, Ford and Schni
eder being present, Mr. Cira.bh, absent two members of said Board be-
ing present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit :,
1 The minutes of the preceedi.ng meeting were approved as read.
Permission was granted George Byrd, to remove the tree from the
sidewalk on west side of South 7th Street , between " U" & "P" Street .
The Park Sup 't . , was authorized to purchase Minature Golf Course
including equipment , balls and 7 extra metal standards, from W. G.
Magaw, for the price of • 100. 00.

A copy of order Bo. 10736, of Public Service Commission of Indiana,
in matter of petition of Public Service Company of Indiana and the
Liberty Light & Power Company, for authority to purchase and sell
certain properties, was received and placed on file .
Complaint of 2iTS. Chas . Posther, as to the condition of South 9th
Street from P. to 4Z Street, was received.
In matter of grading and placing material on South -I-th Street from
South"0"to"P" Street, reported by Street Commissioner as to what
I can be done, ';;.aS taken under advisement for investigation.
A communication was received from Claburn. Jones, owner of ground
in Spring Grove, which has been used by the City as dumping ground
as to the City covering the top with dirt and ashes; was received
and referred. t.o Street Commissioner.
Sup ' t . , was authorized .to purchase coal from the Raymond City Coal
11 go. , at the rate. of three cars per day for 30 days and two cars a
day for the next 30 days, at price of .4(4 per ton f. o. b.mines.
The Clerk was instructed to recuest the Mayor, City Attorney and
Public Utilities Committee of Council, to meet with them at their
next regular meeting to be held Monday February 29th, 1932, to hear
and discuss the report to be submitted by Sup ' t . of Light Plant on
efficiency and cost of Turbine bid on in January, 1932.
Claims in amount of c17, 529 . 83 were allowed.
