. _ The Special Council Committee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boar
Monday December 28th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
.Board, Messrs, Ford, Crabb. and Schnieder being present . The followinl
proceedings -were -had, to-wit : -
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
- Upon recommendat-ion of Police Commissioners and City Civil Engineer
II the BoardAwarded the contract for "Overhead Door" together with an
Automatic Electric Operator, to the Overhead Door Co. , of Richmond,
Indiana, at price named in their •bid submitted therefore December 21st
1931, Total 4 533.00 complete.
- A report' of the cost of collection of ashes, trash etc. , for the year
1930 was received as follows; to-wit :
Gas and Oil for trucks $2135. 51; Tires, repairs for trucks $1116.17
Small tools-$132. 20; Depreciation on trucks $1389. 63 ; Labor p22, 557. 53
Salary, Sup 't, pro-rate-4 619. 50; - Salary, Assistant-$365.95, Total cos'

a: The .Board on motion, decided that Park Sup 't . , H. Coleman, shall hav
full control of the Municipal Golf Course situate in. Glen Miller Par ,
as he will be held responsible for the operation of course, to employ
and discharge any or all the labor necessary in its management .
The Board order arc light -placed on New Paris Pike and one light in
Lucky Drive.
Contract for Lamps for the year 1932, was awarded to the Stanley Ele -
tric and -Plumbing Company of Richmond, - Indiana.
A petition was received to have fences taken down in 1st alley east
II of N. W. 5th Street, from Asylum Avenue north. taken under advisement
for investigation, and owner of fences to be notified to remove the
same, in order that the alley maybe, _used, for gathering ashes, etc. ,
Claims in amount of $6479. 59 were allowed.
. The Board received bids, for equipment at Municipal Electric Lighting
& Power Plant as follows, to-wit : •
Item 1.. One 15000KW.5O% P.F. Turbo-Generator with direct con. exciter;
Item 2. One Surface Air.. Cooler; Item 3 . One 15000 volt Circuit Break r.
Otem 4. Two 10" Non-Return Valves; Item 5. Brick & Brickwork on 2
