The Special Council Committee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana,- met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday December 21st, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M.' All the members of saib
Board, Messrs, Ford, Crabb and Schnieder being present . The followinl;
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes ' of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
The Clerk was directed to advertise for bids on furnishing bituminou-
materials for using on city streets for year 1932, under specificat-
ions of City Civil Engineer.
The Clerk was directed to prepare a resolution and present the . same
to the Common Council, requesting the Judge of Wayne Circuit Court ,
of Wayne County, Indiana, to appoint three appraisers, to appraise
the government bonds and municipal bonds, now in the M.E. L.& P.P.
Depreciation Fund, with a view . of .making sale thereof.
Upon recommendation of Street Commissioner, the Board award contract
to Greenville Mfg. Works, Greenville, Ohio, for "AA"Grits Distribut-
or Spreader, at•:price of $300.00, extras, Hitch-$5.00, structural
steel pan-hopper 410.00 total--4315.00 f.o.b. factory.
The Board received bids for furnishing all necessary materials in
construction and :to install " Overhead Door" in the Police Garage as
follows, to-wit :
" Chas. M. Evans., Dublin, Indiana, bid;
Rigid overhead type, "Easy Over Door" 22 ' 4-" X 9 'H. O. 4293 .00 complet-
Overhead Door Co. , Richmorld, Ind. , bid;
. Manual Operating Door 8383.00 complete
Automatic Electric. Operator 150.00 extra.
The Richmond Fire Proof Door Co. , Richmond, Ind. , bid;
Model F Rp-Way Door, 22 ' 6" X 8' 6" prim . coat paint-075.00 complete
Model T-1 electric operator 225.00 extra
• The Board refer all bids to Building Inspector and City Engineer
for investigation and. report .
Olaims in,.amount of $l4, 6+9. 55 were allowed. •
The Board decided that as the next regular meeting of the Board fal s
on Christmas Day, no meeting will be held until December 28th, 1931
unless called for special purpose.
The Board then adjourned,
