The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, Monday November 23rd, 1931, at 9 :o t clock A. M. Messr , Ford and Schnieder present, Mr. Crabb, absent; two members of said Board being present, the following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved. . The Board approved Maintenance Bond., filed by W.L.Magaw as prin- cipal and United States Fidelity & GtLaranty Company of Baltimore . Maryland as surety, under Improvement Resolution No. 918-1931, for improvement of South 16th Street, from South "E" to "H" Street . the said pond was approved, and Finance Department directed to pay to said contractor the 5% retained on said contract . The City Civil Engineer, was authorized to have the City Attorney to prepare right of way for septic tank in property belonging to Jacob Loos east of 23 South 23rd Street . Street Commissioner J .V. Schneider, proposed to the Board that they investigate the feasability of using the old Crematory for garage for street department equipment, stating that with a very little expense the same could be used as a garage for street department for sometime to come . Claims in amount of $18, 206.97 were allowed. . • The Board then adjourned, (9;%11 Prest. of Board Attest : lerk of Board
