Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Friday November 6th, 1931.
. The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana., met in regular session at the office of said Boar,
Friday November 6th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Ford & Schnieder
present ; Mr. Crach, absent ; two members of said Board being present,
the. following proceedings were had, to-wit :
Minutes of preceeding meeting read and approved.
Mr. Negley, employee having charge of the pumps at the sewage dispos-
al plant, reported that the pumps where badly in need of repair, the
matter was referred to the City Civil Engineer for investigation and
report.
Request from Councilman, for arc light in College Avenue, between
Southwest "D" & "E" Street ; also, for light at South 6th and "L"
Street, made by Messrs, Benn and Waltermann at last session of coun-
cil were received and taken under advisement for investigation.
The matter of hedge at corner of South 13th & "Q" Street, obstructing
the view at this intersection, which was reported as being dangerous
to traffic on these streets, was referred to County Highway Sup 't. ,
. and Street Commissioner, to take proper action as provided by State
law. .
Claims in amount of 96905.86 were allowed.
