Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
. Friday August 28th,1931.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said
Board on Friday. August 28th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M. Messrs, Ford
and Schnieder being present; Mr. Crabb, absent, two members of said
Board being present. The following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Upon recommendation of City Civil Engineering Department, the con-
tractor under Improvement Resolution No.914-1930, for the construct-
ion of South "B" Street sewer, was authorized to connect the- sewer
in the alley between South 12th & 13th Street and between South"A"
and "B". Street, with the South "B" Street sewer, in an effort to
eliminate the existing conditions at the alley in South "B" Street.
The` Board received bids- for timber to be used 'in Happy- Hollow bridge
as follows, to-wit :
" Cardinal Watkins, bid:
Floor plank 180 pos. 3"X 10"-16 ft. long 550.00 per M.
or random width 311 to 11" wide -- 6. 50 " "
a C. & W. Kramer Co. , bid;
7200 ft . 3 X 10 X 16, or equiva7.ent 8-10 & 12inches-$132.00
The bids were referred to the City Engineer, for investigation and
report. _
Claims in amount of '$1283. 29 were allowed.
