Office of Special Council Committee
City of Richmond, Indiana,
Monday August 24th,1931,

The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of
said Board Monday August 24th', 1931, . at 9 o.°clock. A.M. All the
members,' Messrs, Ford, Crabb.. and Schnieder being present, the
following proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read and approved.
Building Inspector, Harry Hodgin was directed to have proper
- columns and � I" beams, installed in the No. 4 Hose House, to II
strengthen the floor under the pumping engine housed at said
station.
The matter .of .complaints .referred. to. the .Board ,at. last ..meeting
of council, were referred to the proper, heads to , investigate, and
report,
The Clerk was directed, to notify Mr. J . F. Henry Sup 't. , of' the
Pennsylvania Railroad Co. , as to the continued holding of the
crossing in North 8th Street, in an effort to stop the different
train crews from holding, this crossing for from 10. to 30 minutes
thereby violating the city ordinances. ,
