Office of Special Council Committee-:
City of Richmond, Indiana, x
. Monday August 3rd, 1931.
The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Boa d
Monday August 3rd, 1931, at .9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Board, Messrs, Ford and Schnieder being present. The following pro-
ceedings were had to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
On recommendation of the City Civil Engineer Hodgin, the Board is-
sued Contractors Certificate No. 82, in amount of $13, 684.97, the
same being 85% of work _completed under contract of J .Dehner Inc. ,
Under Improvement Resolution No.914-1930, on South "B" Street sewer,
since last certificate was issued.
.The Board awarded the contract to McMinn & taylor, for furnishing all
necessary labor & material in construction of Rest Room in West 7th
Street Park, consisting of concrete building and necessary plumbing
at price named in bid submitted therefore 4683.00 complete.

The Special Council Committee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in called session in the Council Chamber at
the City Hall of said City, on August 3rd, 1931, after the regular
session of the Common Council. All the members of said Committee
Messrs, Ford and Schnieder being present. The following proceedings
were had, to-wit :

Mr. Ford presented resolution dated July 31, 1931, the same being a
declaration of the policy of the City of Richmond, Indiana, to- earn
the rates and income now being earned by the Municipal Electric
Lighting & Power Plant of said .City now obtaining therein, which
was on motion unanimously adoptced, and .ordered transmitted to the
Public Service Commission of the State . of Indiana as an expression
• of the policy of said City. •( See Resolution Ordinance Record "F"
page-367. )
- The called session then adjourned,
