Friday July .24th,1931.
The Special Council Committee,Board .of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session in the office of said
Board, Friday July. 24th, 1931 at 9 o 'clock A.M.All the members of
said Board Messrs, Ford and Schnieder being present . The following
proceedings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read.
Street Commissioner was directed to patch South "H" Street from
6th to 8th Street, before oiling the street.
Claims in Amount of $1212.40 were allowed.
The Special Council Committee

then adjourned.

The Special Council Committee,Board of Public Works of the City of
Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board
Monday July 27th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.M. All the members of said
Board,Messrs, Ford & Schnieder being present, the following proceed-
ings were had, to-wit :
The minutes of the preceeding meeting were read & approved.
The Board met to hear remonstrances if any, of persons whose proper-
ty is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No.919-1931
for cement roadway in alley 1st north of Pearl St, from alley bet.
NW. 6th & 7th St. to 7th Street & the alley bet . NW. 6th & 7th Street
from said 1st alley north including circular driveway. No remonstrance
being presented, the Board approved a final assessment roll confirm,
ing the priginal assessment roll heretofore approved, and now direct
the same transmitted to the Department of Finance.
The Board approved a re-plat of the Dilks Addition, at South 16th &
"E" Sts. being a Sub-Div. of 1, 6, 7 & 8, of original Dilks Addition.
A group of representative citizens, appeared before the Board pro •
-
testing against the proposed abandonment of the South 6th Street Se er
from South " C" to "E" Street, the Board stated that the abandonment
. of said sewer was petitioned for by property owners owning property
oetween the points named, but as it was an engineering matter, they
would abide by 'a majority remonstrance and recommendation of the
City Civil Engineer.
