The Special Council Committee, Board' of Puolic Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board Monday June 29th, 1931, at 9 o 'clock A.. M. Messrs, Ford and Schnied- er present. The following proceedings were had, to.-wit : Report of the death of Richard R. Holzapfel, Preaf the Commit- • tee, which occured Sunday P .L. June lath, 1931,vout Of respect for the deceased president, the Board decide to transact only such bus- iness as is absolutely necessary. IIH The minutes of the proceeding meeting were read and approved. .Permission was granted Jerome Shurley to cut the curb for driveway • on west side of North 7th Street between Main and North "A" Street at Lot 57 C.W.S arrs,Addition. The Board met to hear remonstrances if any of persons ;:hose. property • is primarily assessed under Improvement Resolution No. 917-1931, for improvement of alley between South 10th & llth Street, from '' . No one remonstrating, the Board ap- C7Dproved a final. assessment roll, confirming . the original assessment roll as heretofore approved, and now direct the same be transmitted forthwith to the Department of Finance. . Coleman, presented quotations for necessary lumber for benches at Park Green Houses as follows, viz : • Richmond Lumber Company; • 0_29.00 • Miller-Kemper Company 0.30.00 Bell Lumber- & Coal Company 'k130. 6/1- The price of Richmond Lumber Company, being the lowest and best . received, bup 't , , Coleman, was authorized to make purchase of said lumber from said Richmond Lumber Company.
