The Special Council Committee, Board of Public. Works, of the City
of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of
said Board Friday June 26th, 1931, at 9 o ' clock A.M. Messrs, Ford
and Schnieder bein present; M . Holzapfel, absent . Two members
of said Board being present . The following proceedings were had.
towit :
The minutes of the precee ing' meeting were approved as read.
The Board renewed the contract for' Turbine Oils, with the Stand-
ard Oil Co. , ' for the year ending July 23, 1932. •
Report of. the Public Service Commission of Indiana, in Cause No.
10415, in matter of petition of Atlas Underwear Company et-al,
VS. City of Richmond, and Municipal Electric Lighting 6, Power
Plant of Richmond, Indiana, (To require Standby Service) re p'ort-
ing that the prayer of the petitioners in this cause is denied.
Said report was oredered placed on file.
The aunicipal Electric Lighting & Power Plant reported completion
of improvement under Resolution No. 919 -1;9 1, for light post in
South 11th Street between South r°A" Street -e anCi Pc..��, Place', i�1"1
Board accepted the same and approved a primary assessment therefore.
A petition for light in North "3-'1 Street, east of 19th Street,was
received and referred to Sup 't . , of Light Plant .
Upon recommendation of Sup t . , Hess of Light Plant , the Board
tentatively award the contract for Heaters at Light Plant to
the Cochrane Corporation, of Philadelphia, Pn `@ `�"_,, 5.00

per bid received- February lath, 1931.
The Board directed the Finance Department to pay the 5%o reserves
retained, as follows, to-wit : . 11

Report of Richmond ,Dater Works Corporation, that 10 of the it
ional fire hydrants ordered by the City had been installed, was
received and placed on file.
The Board net with Insurance Committee and various Insurance Agents
for a conference in. ..fatter of various insurance policies expiring _
July 1st, 1931, after said conference the Board met and distribut-d

Claims in amount of 410, 82 1.82 were allowed.
