The Special Council Committee, Board of Public Works of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met in regular session at the office of said Board, '.Friday June 13th, 151 at 3 o ' clock A.M. All the members of said Board, Messrs, Holzepfel, Ford and s Schnieder, being present . The l !ire following proceedings were had, to-wit : The minutes of the preceeding meeting were approved as read. The Board direct ,the City Attorney, to prepare anagreementby ' and between J .H .Hill and the City of Richmond, Indiana, whereby the said J ._H.Hill, may use one-half of the double house and one-half II of the garage and ground to the north of greenhouses recently pur- chased from said Hill, for a rental of 480. 00 per month, .beginning November 1st, 1931, for a period of 7 or d months. . Complaint was received from Louis Posther, as to .existing condition of alley recently improved, between South 10th & llth Street and Park Place and South "B" Street, referred to City Engineer for in- vestigation and report . • Complaint from Council were reported as follows; Mr. Ben_- , called attention to need of gravel in Southwest " 0" Street , Iron end to 3rd Street ; fair. Sheffer, called attention to needed repairs in Rat- liff Street, from "M" to "N" Street, and sewage in 0rosshall St . which were r :Ierred to Street Commissioner. A petition signed by Harry WigganS praying for cement sidewalk 6' wide on north side of North-west "J" Street, (Linden Ave) . from west line of Lot 27 A.P .Griffiths Addition, to the east line of the nigh of way of G. R. o: I . Railroad, referred to Engineer for investigat- ion and report . The Board authorized ivir. Holzapfel President to sign contract for five band concerts in Glen Miller ,Z rk to be givenby c. American Federation of Musicians of Richmond, as follows, to-wit : Three concerts by military band 20 pieces with soloist at 4l00.'J0 each, N300.00) ) Two concerts by popular orchestra @ 465. 00 each(.415 ) or total of 430.00 for the five concerts, beginning Sunday July 12 continuing at weekly intervals until August 3th. Any concert not oei ing half played because of rain will be repeated at subsequent date to be determined by Park Su 't . ) The following order of concerts r- tentatively agreed upon. Military Band. July 12th, 26th and August 5th, Popular Orchestra July 15th and August 2nd, 19 1. Eachconcert • to be of two hours duration. Mr. U. C. Hess, Sup 't . , of Municipal Electric Lighting 8 Power Plant, filed a report as of May 1, 1951, of the Value of Struct- ures Cc Lquipment of the M.E. L. P . P . for insurance purposes, the report being a recap of the work sheets attached for l it Insurance showing the valuation of the Plant , Office and Stores Dept . , IJuild- ings as well as contents . The same was ordered placed on file.
